This group is for people who love watching very VERY bad movies and having a great time doing it! We are for lovers of the classic 90s TV show "Mystery Science Theater 3000". Some of our favorites include the old Godzillas, made for TV movies, and of course the films of our hero Mr. Ed Wood. We are planning to see the new Rifftrax theater events together and riff some new movies in our meetups too (once we have an attractive enough apartment, or find someone with an attractive enough apartment!)

If you like seeing movies, this group has you covered. We'll usually see a movie on the north side of Denver, and we'll usually share a meal before or after the show. This group will be seeing Hollywood blockbusters more often than independent films, but you never know what's next on the schedule. The Denver Cinema Club is a way to meet up with other film lovers to see a new independent, foreign, or otherwise interesting movie and discuss movies over drinks afterwards. We currently meet the second and fourth Thursday evenings of each month to see a movie chosen by a poll of the group the previous weekend.
